what exactly is it that make BBC so different? When does the news ever want to report GOOD things that are happening? They know that tragedy and pessimism sells better than "yay, everything in the world is happy!"

people all over the world trust the bbc. the reosen being if you had actually read those articles rather than glancing at there titles you would see BOTH sides of the argument are always represented becuse under the bbc's rules they HAVE to be. the articles have quotes from the pro sides and the anti sides.

but they are still using facts, from BOTH sides, to back up the point they want to make....

the bbc do not have an anti nuclear agenda. you seem to be confusing them with a rabid group of envirometalists. which they arnt. they arnt making a point. they are reporting on FACTS theres a bit of a bloody difference.

They used to, but in recent years they have adopted a very firm political stance to a variety of subjects, a stance they are more than willing to voice.

*head in hands*
....
you what?
....
if you cant trust auntie, who can you trust.?

or in other words stroggy i actually live in england and i watch the bbc evry day. and have done all my life. and i have noticed little change. except for the fact that they are very carefull over the way they word critiscism of the goverment scince the greg dyke resignation.
this is the first time in a discussion i have seen bbc reports called into question.
which quite frankly is annoying.

so im not gonna bother posting in this topic again as i hate repeating myself and i cant be bothered to keep on defending the bbc. either you will accept what they say or you wont. whatever. belive the corperate line. whatever.
they dont care about you. or the planet. all they care about is profit.

I say all wars should be fought with fists, nothing else. And everyone has to be drunk off their behind before they can fight. The last people standing in the end wins LOL

Its really hard to kill someone by punching them in the face.

So start watching Big Brother on Channel 4 then.

ANYWAY, AT LEAST ITS BETTER THAN ITV, WHO R UNABLE TO MAKE A PROGRAM WITHOUT THE WORD CELEBRITY IN THE TITLE.
Mike Nevill is a legend though. I secretly like fiona better from look north. Breakfast with frost is far better than Tonight with trevor macdonald.
And don't get me started about the times. Mostly written by snobs for snobs. I hate Rupert Murdoc. :ranting:
