All of those things you mentioned, plus couple other (voted for this option) things that you did not mention.

Lately I play Super Mario World  , MK DA, Joe Viewtiful and Galaxian. Real mix.

In order for me to REALLY enjoy a game, it needs to have good music. If it doesn't, I'll still play it, but I turn off the music and put on my own soundtrack in the back ground

Good story can be a major factor in a game.

that too...I like having a story line that doesn't suck. Although sometimes story lines get waaaaay too far stretched as the developers DESPERATELY search for a story line

Hmmm, I voted multiplayability, but, I have other choices too,
1.Multi
2.Story/playibility/fun factor
3.graphics

I but Mutiplay as first because, I rearely get a game that doesn't have multiplayer because, it doesn't last nearly as long, and you don't get to play other people.

I voted for Nice playability 'coz I love platformers and most of 'em are not in need for good graphics, sound, effects and other stuff you mentioned.

It just needs to be fast and with lots of extras to collect and lots of enemies to shoot at ... par ex 1942 is one of the best games i ever played ...

I voted for music. Maybe because I am a musician myself. But I think, that great music could stimulate you to continue investigating the "goddamn", at first look, game and further playing it. I can remember Betrayal at Krondor, which MIDI I wanted to download for separate listening, Hexen and recently bought game Kult: Heretic Kingdoms. I think, the list is far not complete.
But, in all, all things, listed above, must be on as higher state, as possible. In ideal...

Prob would say music as we've really come a long way and now we can hear such great tracks that are produced nicely most of the time at least.

Gameplay and depth. Two things I miss dearly since several years now.
