3rd hint:
Are you hanging in the ropes
Your screenshot looks like there is a bell on the left. That, and your clue about hanging in the ropes makes me think of Quasimodo. :bleh:

Am I close

That's not a bell. That's a ghost.

No, the last clue was connected to the Spectrum ZX title "something something" on the ropes.

OK - think about something else.
4th clue: Think prehistoric!

His name is Fred Quicksilva and it's Roland who's "on the ropes". There is a PC remake on the net. Check this site : Fred

Take this one as next challenge. If you don't know what this is then you should ask yourself if you ever played a GOOD game :bleh:

Nope. And your guess tells me that you never had a C64 or Amiga500 somewhere in the 80s ...

most of the people born in or after the middle of eighties never had one (note that some of our best mebers were born that way), so if possible keep it PC (I'm sure we don't mind a no-PC screen once in a while, just remeber that abandonia is dedicted to IBMC games)

EDIT: no, I haven't misspeled ICBM. "IBM Compatible" is what you guys call PC nowdays (allthough every mac, amiga and C64 is thechnicaly a personal computer)

sorry for not posting earlier - I was quite busy at work ...

so here is the hint:

The C64 version was published 1991 by Storm and developed by The Sales Curve.

There is a cool multiplayer mode where you and a friend can control these cute fairies to kill enemies with a wand.

Sorry 'bout this C64 version but I thought EVERYONE knows this ... It's been most popular on Amiga.
