All I can jokingly say is : White spirit.
This is also what Joe says about hard-to-remove eyeliner

Somebody threatened one of my friends that he's write something on his head with permanent marker. And friend responded (with a straight face, he meant it seriously) that if that happened he'd splash white spirit onto his forehead to get it off.

As for the photos, the sugestions in this thread are good (except for the sandpaper and white spirit, obviously).

I went to the pharmacy to ask for that isop and they looked at me like I asked for a marsec armour. They were willing to sell me a bottle they had that contains about 1 litre of the liquid. Too much especialy since I want to try it first.
I went to the local jessops and asked if they had anything to clean photos/prints and said they have never heard of anything like that before.
I will keep looking, though I can wait till next month. The reason is that I want to clean the photos to scan them and store them. But since all my hard drives are full and I want to phase out the CDs, I plan to buy a dvd dual layer recorder (USB) for that.
I scanned a photo that had minimal problems and I got it at 73MBs in size. Not bad.

Well, if the photo is resized at a normal amount by pixels and with a good format (png or jpeg0 that shouldn't take more than 1mb of space. I can't imagine how you get 73mb.

Wow you think people have never heard of rubbing alcohol before  Perhaps I should have given you that name if people have never heard of it by that name  Perhaps the correct name for it was over their heads or something

A 16oz bottle should set you back like $2.50
