@Magic - I'll take your word for it, I'm not much of a Star Trek Guy.
@Piggy - Yep... funny how generic lines can bring up memories eh? @Tom - Thank you, glad to be here. @Bobbin - You found the hidden image!!! (on second thought I think it's the Moiré effect caused by downscaling from 1024x768).  I had a lot of fun trying to "texturize" the grid by simply floodfilling the "tiles" with random patterns. Some of them made it look very fake, others almost appeared as real 3D. Dunno if I still have these... will look. Nice weekend all.
