![]() Damned right, AJ Raffles.
Especially going into classes which we hate and would never use in our lives anyway. |

![]() What Price VirtuaFighter?
Or maybe What Prince Virtue? - the tale of a diminutive royal son's quest to get himself noticed. The Sonic spinoff Tails Goes to Canterbury? Anne of Green Cables, the guide to building your own network? (God that's terrible...) |

![]() Possibly, but I did have an actual breakdown in the summer holidays because of all of my work and the bastards that I go to school with.
But anyway. Yeah, I do hope that college and uni are better. They'd best be. |

Get used to it? Why? At university at least he'll be able to pick a subject he likes. Of course there's no way of knowing he won't end up doing a dull job afterwards, but at least those three years should be a bit more fun. |

![]() Unless you're like me and you take all the general ed subjects first, and it's STILL taking stuff you'll never ever use in life, but you still have to do it to get any degree :eeeeeh:

![]() Well, no, I just think that's the wrong attitude, and it's bound to make you miserable. I mean, do you really want to go through life thinking "this is all about me being forced to do things I don't want to do"?

What i meant was that : 1) School is OK. It provides the only form of knowledge most people get before being brainwashed by TV and consummers society in it's evershining glory. 2) It's having to go where you don't want to go, wake up when you'd rather sleep, being bossed around, etc, that really sucks. 3) You'd better get used to it as a big part of your life will (probably) be spent doing things you don't enjoy and/or care for, and being bossed around one way or another. But there's still room enough for lots of cool things. :Brain: |
