I bet he grew tired of all that: "Hey, are you the REAL Romero?" stuff going on when he wrote in the Strife thread. Just put yourself in his shoes for a moment and see how much fun it is, spending time in a forum, when all you hear there, is: "Hey, are you the REAL Romero?" He's a guy like everybody else here. Alright, he's made quite a name, but still... in the end, he's got to go potty too, just like the rest of us, and he enjoys spending time online without constantly being hassled, too. So why only one post, then leave? Cause he only got to more of the same.

It wasn't an insult, it was a statement that John Romero was going to beat you.
Not so sure about Jesus. Get on topic, and stop encouraging me to destroy it, because that seems to be a chronic disease I have.

For once I totally agree with Tiki. Let the guy be. C'mon... if he is the one you think, let him have fun without being pestered by the same old questions over and over. And if he isn't, so what?
Edit: Of course... if he is, then he has been killed by every single member on this forum... repeatedly :whistle:

Never played the game myself, but the way I heard it, all versions of Daikatana were equally bad.

Actually, the GBC version of Daikatana was the only one universally liked.
