![]() Theorical fascination
The moment in question is, when you have passed on - & those who´ve been near to you, have gathered together to remember no-other than yourself - (family - friends - loved ones) The question is, what song/melody would you like to have played in your own funeral? & the reason isn´t really important as such in a situtation like that, it´s just the moment that music becomes alive truly - |

![]() Do you think anyone will ever open a thread in the Music section in which Boulevard of Broken Dreams isn't mentioned?
Erm, mine would be possibly Gone Away by The Offspring but more likely Marc Almond's version of The Days of Pearley Spencer. |

I suppose I'd probably have Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi because it's always been a favourite but another good option would be Tori Amos - Cornflake Girl, which is the song that inspired me to pursue a career in music. My third choice would be Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield because it was the first dance when I got married and my father is a preacher! However, that would mean not choosing anything by The Beach Boys (Good Vibrations or Fun, Fun, Fun would be good at a Funeral), Radiohead (Nearly all good for funerals) or Iron Maiden (Not sure my family would approve). In all honesty, I'm not sure I could choose because there are still so many songs I'd like played. Maybe if I'm succesful enough someone will stage a memorial concert and I can have everything I want! |

![]() The Doors - A Feast To Friends
AFI - Untitled Nightwish - Angels Fall First Pearl Jam - Ghost Beatles - The Long And Winding Road Just a few that came to my head. I could probably compose my own funeral, but that would be kinky in a sick, twisted way. *Likes the idea* |
