I don't know, first thing that comes to mind with apes is of course 'Planet of the apes', but I don't think that's the movie you're quoting from....

I'm sorry if this isn't clear to anyone who doesn't speak English, but I think this is the name of the movie you're talking about:
 I think I've got the right story (I'm pretty sure I do). The story is also one of my all-time favourite movies and probably my favourite book. As far as I know, the quote is said by a drill sergeant or commanding officer to the rookie marines. In the book, the quote is from a specific military commander, though I can't remember who. |
