The ending sucked yes.
But I though the rest of the film was wonderfully paced, and entertaining.

I thought it was visually outstanding, but, I detested the characters, personally, especially the two girls, who as far as I was concerned harboured the exact same personality and character traits, except one of them was blue. ...and dead.

Yes, I quite enjoyed the remake. A ton of great lines, and Depp was amazing in the role, really stole the show.
