And if increasing the emulation speed doesn't work, try frame skipping (no idea how to do this in Dosbox itself, I use D-Fend as a front end to Dosbox).

20,000 CPU cycles: the game does freeze, but less quickly. Shooting a monster now makes the game go very slowly, followed by a freezement.

LOL, 20.000 is far too much, you don't need much more then just 8.000-9.000 for the game to run pretty fast. In fact, 20.000 would rather slow your system down again because of too high value, which it seems to do, too.

I am still facing the problem (the game freezes when shooting or killing) and I consulted the help file, which says this:
If your game locks up for no apparent reason (especially when firing a weapon, or when hitting one of the purple slugs), you'll need to try adding this to your CONFIG.SYS file. STACKS=9,128 This seemed to be the answer to my problem, but I soon discovered there is no CONFIG.SYS, only CONFIG.BM1, CONFIG.BM2 and CONFIG.BM3. Was this file deleted or altered for compatibality? Any tips? |

config.sys is a file that exists on DOS instalation.
has nothing to do with biomenace. at the moment you can't run biomenace with dosbox. You'd better wait till 0.64 or higher comes out as that one runs it fine.

Actually I was able to play Bio Minace with DosBox without any problems... :eeeeeh:

I finished 1 and 2 without the DosBox and it works fine so i am going to finish the 3rd i am at the Mutant Attacks and i can't pass it awww
My DosBox doesn't works on my WinXp home edition why i don't know

I finished 2 episodes, but number 3 is strange; when completing level 2 or 3 the game just stops. Bah.
