That's pci though right? well if I go pci, I guess I'll go 939 too. Too bad I know where I can get an athlon 2700 64(754) for 250 bucks. It seems that most pci boards are at least 939 these days. Is this the case in your experience?
fyi. Now I'm running
biostar m7ncd 400
amd 2400+ xp...142 fsb(284)
corsair dual memory3200
ati radeon 9600xt 128Mb


My critical next upgrade is definitly the processor, as the fsb is holding me back big time, not to mention the 64 bit processing capabilities now.
after that is the video card.
seeing as how My board is outdated,(socket A) It will determine my route.
Your sugestion is interesting, and I will definitly think about it. Just in hearing it, I can fathom the savings, as if you you consider by the time you get the second video card, it will have dropped in price considerably. I really want to be happy with my next upgrade. I fell short of the mark on my last one.
