Well the storyline of the game could be counted among the better sci-fi stories.
It reminds me a bit on books of Arthur C. Clarke.

Now the game still isn't so brilliant I'd go and build a museum about it, but it is a very fine example of a great point'n'click adventure. Lucas Arts at it's best (unfortunately the popularity of Full Throtlle - which featured more action and characters with more apealing attitude - overshadowed the greatnes of The Dig).

BTW - Wendy, if you liked The Dig I'm sure you'd love the game RAMA (unfortunately by Sierra and I don't know if it's still for sale).

RAMA? I'll investigate immediately. Always on the lookout for good adventure games..especially fantasy ones. Thanks, Sebatianos I received a newsletter today about latest game releases, but the new adventure games sound pretty feeble...though with amazing 7D graphics, of course.

I wish they'd open a museum about Zork Nemesis...now that would be fascinating!

I loved the dig when I was younger, played it through about 5 times. I've still got the CD that came in the lucasarts collection, because my original CD ended up too scratched and wouldn't play.
