![]() Tip, get some wood, then polish it and furnish it so it looks like a tea table, then place the wood around the shoebox, so you have a wooden PS2!
Then you can go to a engraver, and get a nice piece of shiny gold metal, and print the PS2 logo on it. In the matter of a day's work you can have a nice case. I kinda did something like that with my GameCube. Except it was metal, painted black, and it had the engraving "Pandora's Box" on it. Along with that the plates were just glued onto the system appropriatly, so it wouldn't damage any parts or cut off the air fans.
