How are you running the game?
If you use DosBox, it should be fine.
If you are using VDM Sound or Windows, use the arrow keys and enter.

@ Guest with lightning bugs
I don't know why the man is not there. Try to OPEN the lighthouse or USE the lighthouse and see if that helps. Let me know how you get on.

how does one use dosbox. do I drag and drop the .exe or... I seem unable to coop with it though it might look laughable to you

Don't worry, it's not laughable. I found DosBox tricky at first.

You can get it from here - http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=programs

After you install it, go back to the Igor folder.
Click on Igor.exe and drag it over to the DosBox icon, then let go.
The game should start automatically.

You might find it handy to keep DosBox on your desktop.

Hello all,

it is not possible to open the door of the lighthouse. He says that it is too late for a visit. There is also no chance to use the items from my inventory with the lighthouse, the door or the tree which stands beside the lighthouse...

I read at the beginning of the thread that there was a problem with downloading this game which was fixed already, but I tried it just now and am getting a 404 error. I just downloaded another game from Abandonia like 2 minutes ago, so it shouldn't be a server problem on either end.

I just played the game through again, and there is a lot of stuff to do before you can talk to the man at the lighthouse.

Have you managed to get into the astronomy observatory yet? :whistle:

Is anyone else stuck trying to find the nail in the dormitory? I can't find it anywhere, no matter where I move the mouse. Can anyone be specific and tell where I might find it? All the walkthroughs just say 'in the dark'.

From memory, it's a very light grey pixel to the right of centre of the screen - it's in the black shadows though.

Adjust the brightness settings of your computer if that helps.

hehehe, just like Pokemon tunnel on the gameboy! (really are you waste time teaching a guy to use that move when you can just move the wheel on the side... I think not!)
