:help: :help: :help: Ok when i play this in dosbox the game freezes every 5 seconds or so. Not to mention the opening screen takes 30 seconds to move on regardless of clock cycles. Is there some tweak in dosbox i can do to make all better? Ive loved this game since i first played it on my genesis in 94 hehe i used to skip school to play it. LOL

In that case, I remember that in some thread (I think it was X-Com Apocalypse) there was an alternate protected mode program mentioned.

This game is not running that well under DOSBOX - lots of slowing down and even freezing for no apparant reason. Very unstable in other words. Too bad, I love this game.

When I start the desert.exe, there's a black windows in which is a phrase: "Requires an EMS driver" or something like that. I downloaded DOS-Box, but I can't understand what to do. Is there an EMS driver? Or can one of you speak german and tell me how to use the DOS-Box exacly.
