well, this game is classic - true.

How did you manage to run it properly, Reup? In Dosbox with less than 300 cycles it still is way too fast.
seems no one is to answer my question...

OK, I tried this as well. On my Windows ME PC, I don't even need an emulator for it... it runs flawlessly when I start it in full-screen DOS mode.
Just to clarify, I tried just about every other Burger time version out there before this one... (all emulated) Intellivision, Colecovision (prototype and end version), MSX, Arcade, Flash game, Atari 2600, Atari 800 (Beef drop homebrew), Amstrad CPC... oh, and I OWN the cartridge for my old TI-99.

I think this PC version is one of the best ones, especially taking into account those days' PC's limitations. The animation is absolutely smooth, and it doesn't run too fast on my 800 MHz PC. They kept all the 6 screens from the original arcade version and even stuck on some additional ones at the end (got to Level 10 today, and they still don't repeat). Other versions are off far worse than that. One minor gripe is that they apparently got the CGA colors wrong... the sausages that should be red are cyan, and the green onions are purple... would have been better the other way round. But all in all, it's a great conversion!
