With the entire year, if you do things right, you're almost gaurenteed a 2nd place finish at the festival in cooking, and lately I've been getting first. The downside is, your 500 has to last a whole year, where you make almost no money because she does mostly housework, plus I like to buy her meat the first few months. So, I'm generally in the negative until the next payday. :P But the festival money makes up for it. I have no idea which, if any of the dieties give you more than one skill. I've only ever had Venus as my gaurdian. And as far as the missing files go, nope, you're not the only one. I'm missing several text files. I would really, really love to go in there and create text files for all the missing entries (I'm guessing I could figure out what needed to be what if I saw the code), but the files are all locked away in foxpro files or SOMETHING. Meh. In the end, to figure out how your daughter did with her work, you just have to take what the guardian said... but it's sad because you can't really find out why she did poorly. |

![]() I think it's got to do with comitment. If she worked someplace often enoughthen she worked well (it's then that she'll also report this and this person was a kind of a mentor to her).
Ups - that's me (I forgot I wasn't logged in). |

![]() My daughter ALWAYS marries a wizard.
Grr. I love this game and I think Cube is adorable! I wish my daughter would marry him! |

![]() Any pros around here know of a way to quickly increase your fighter/magic rep quickly? Apparently - and I've yet to find any guides that makes mention this - your character can get arrested for associating with thieves. This seems to happen at random when your character is delinquent (in my case she also had 0 Morals and 500+ Sin, so that probably didn't help), and causes her to lose all but a smidgeon of her F/M rep, but also reduces her stress and Sin to 0 (She repents.)
The problem is, since all my fighter/magic stats have already been maxed, and all the bandits captured, and my rep is too low to attract duels, the only options left to me seems to win tournaments and returning home early from adventures. Dragon teeth would work, but seeing as how dragons run at the drop of a hat, that's probably even less reliable. How much rep do you need to attract duels, anyway? At this rate I'll probably just have her retire from her fighting career. |

![]() I think you need at least 115 of respectively fighter or mage reputation for the duels. I had mostly 120-130 (training up to 100, adventuring / fighting the rest) with her and duels were high on agenda.

![]() Well, after taking almost non-stop theology courses to get the last bit of my magic def up and raiding the forest map a couple of times (also found the elf by the giant tree, which gave me some magic stats for some of my att skill), I finally managed to get my rep 200 up from about 80. It seems that's how much magic rep you need to start getting challenges on the street. Now I can focus on something else for a while...
Crap.... I just realized something. I only have 2 festivals left and I've still got 3 categories to win. Ugh. |

![]() > If you get arrested late in the game, your chances of rebuilding your rep are over.
Not true. Once you get enough rep to start getting duels, you can simply go to and return from town over and over to trigger them. Not technically cheating, even if it is a blatant exploit. Actually, now that I managed to end the game with her reputation intact, I'm sort of disappointed that my character ended up as an adventurer - not that it was all that surprising I don't know... maybe I was hoping for something a bit more... nuanced? I guess it wasn't like she was going to be a poet and a warrior. Heh. On a sidenote, I find it kind of odd for "Adventuring" to be considered a class during the ending sequence. It seems to me like any character with any fighting ability whatsoever would almost be garunteed to have farming and adventuring as their most "memorable" experiences, which is kind of dull. Personally, I'd have made adventuring a "job "instead, since that's how I make most of my money late in the game anyways, and it'd be much more informative to see which real class I actually took the most. |

![]() I did it one time. She was then maxed out warrior through training and adventuring. Don't remember the stats now, but she was very high on all fighter-relevat stats. Anyway, when you defeat him... no, I'll leave the fun to find it out to you

![]() Oh, btw, you'll need that best most expensive fighter armor for her or you can forget fighting the god. And the best purchasable weapon too, of course. And while you're training the fighter stats take her armor and weapon off, then her fighter stats are lower and therefore train faster and up to their natural maximum. With items on her stats are then over the maximum, that's the way.
