Hi,

I always helped Phelonians.
It is said, that you may catch Morgul piracy ship and tell them about Kalls. This should turn Kalls hostile against Morguls. Well, I made it several times but Morgul-Kalls alliance was always formed. They destroyed Phelonians and later me.

If you don't help Phelonians you will not get the battletank plans.

What does it depend on to find that pirate-ship?
I found it the first time when I moved into the second solar system there is.
The game before I didn't find it at all.
Now I have a another game running and didn't find it yet.

I think you need to invent the radio first. To do so, land on Jade after the Morgruls kill off the Jaanosians. And you will find the radio in the destroyed Jaanosian base.

You also need the tractor beam, but I think this is invented by your developper no matter what you do really. So that'll be no trouble.

Eventually you get a distress signal, and if you sent ships there you'll pick up the Morgrul Pirate Ship. Tell them the Kalls will attack them and let them go. The Morgruls will no longer trust the Kalls, so the Kalls cannot ally with them, and instead ally with you.

(Kalls are basically a bunch of traders who'll ally with whomever they think will win at the time.)


The important steps in dealing with the Morgruls are to make sure you get everything you can from the Jaanosians (Sent them your scientist, buy their artifact, help the defend them.)

Exploring Jade (for the radio)

Talking to your informer once you get access to Phoenix and find the Phelonians, and trade energon for the battletank. Don't accept the money, ask for techonology.

Making sure that before you do that you have one colony that produces alot of energon, since you do not want the shortage. You also want to put lots nad lots of derricks on your homeworld and maybe on another world with detoxin. And you will want a world that is rich in raenium as well. You will also need some texon. (But you seem to need less of this.) You will need to colonize Penelope and Mir at least (both in your homesystem) and you want to do this ASAP in the game (Start with Mir, its a desert so you can build windtraps for cheap energy there.)

Finding Explorer 2 (I think its in the Mirach system. You will need to land on one of the planets. Could be at Phoenix, but I'm 90% sure its at Mirach.) this gives you extra technology you'll need. (Destroyers I think are gained this way.)

Doing the whole pirate-ship thing and telling the Morgruls that the Kalls will attack them before letting them go. (They can't send a message if you kill 'em!

And throughout it all keep building both spaceships and tanks! You will not need troopers, so don't bother with those. But you WILL need hunters, starfighters and destroyers. Focus on starfighters but build lots and lots of hunters as well. (They do make a difference.) You won't need many destroyers. But I'd advice building more then one still. (You'll need one at least to get your army out of the system!) For money, make sure taxes on your homeworld are as high as possible. (But to keep them from revolting do make sure you buy them stuff like a stadium and all.)


When you got a reasonable sized fleet, kill the Morgruls and go straight for their homeworld. Anything else won't even faze them. (In fact consider all alien colonies irrelevant. Only their homeworlds matter.)


Once the Morgruls are dead, the game won't be nearly so hard. Just don't kill the Erans. Build a colony with an observatory in their system instead.

And when you meet the league be sure to immidiately ask your barman about them. (He is the one that tells you to break up the league. And if he doesn't tell you, you can't actually break them up I found! And if you don't ask early on you can't ask anymore, stupidly enough.)

But anyway, if you do all that you'll be able to rescue the Erans when their sun goes nova and befriend them. And then you can send them to bring the Undorlings to your side. (Which gives you aircraft.)

Thank you for the info about the way of splitting the League. I made this once some time ago and could not notice how. I will try the path with barman. Anyway, I can produce 500 tanks and 90 troopers (as a debrise) to crush the League :tai: .

You are right, the Explorer 2 is in the Mirach system.

Hi all,

One thing was always interested for me. I tried to play as male and female character, but did not see any difference. I finished the game in the same way as usual. The only issue was that woman Commander has less money at the begin of game.

Did anyone notice other differences during the game?

took me 2yrs to finish the game...to hard....moguls take the piss after 2 yrs they come and nearly wipe your behind away...........i have aend game somewhere LOL

PLEASE HELP ME...


I can't go to the other star systems... I've killed the mogruls and build another army but now only my satelite ships can travel through systems 4-6 anyone know how to trigger a discovery or something to get to the next systems?

Dette skal du g?re, da tingen er et hyperdive som bliver vigtig sennere I spillet. N?r janoosianerne beder dig om hj?lp mod mogruls, skal du acceptere, s? du f?r nogle. Pr?v ikke at hj?lpe mod mogruls, dine styrker er vigtigere fir dig selv. N?r mogruls tv?rerjanoosianerne ud, skal du flyve til jade med en handelsenhed. Land p? planeten , og du f?r en radio. Hvis du har 10 hunters og den mellemste genneral, burde du kunne klare mogrullerne f?rste gang.
Byg en masse hunters laser cannons, og placer dem allei din hoved planets forsvarspulje. Lad v?re med at placere tropper I dine kolonier. De bliver alligevel aldrig andgrebet. N?r det er mugligt skal du bygge en galleon og sende den til phoenix systemets tredje planet. Du m?der Kalls, og en form for alliance skabes. N?r phoenix 5 bliver synlig, sendes en galleon dertil. Phelonianerne vil betale 100000 for 10000 tons energon. I stedet b?r man bede om noget andet, nemlig planerne til en tank. Hvis du pr?ver bygge en base p? phoenix 2, vil inbyggerne hurtig d? p? grund str?ling fra solen. Lidt efter kan du opfinde Radiation shield, som blokere for str?lingen. Sm?k et observatorium op p? phoenix 2, og phoenix 1 vil p? et eller andet tidspunkt blive synlig, send en galleon derhen, og en gruppe mogruls vil blive taget til fange. Bed dem sige til deres ledere at kalls vil angribe dem, og set dem derefter fri. Nu vil mogruls og kalls I krig med hinanden. Dette skal du for vis ikke sl?r kalls og mogruls sig sammen, og du bliver helt sikkert mejet ned.
N?r du f?r muligheden for det skal du sende en satelite carrier til mirach 2 og smide en satelit efter m?ne 1. Du vil nu finde Explorer 1, og f?r muligheden for at bygge destroyers og misiles. Herfra begynder mogruls at angribe ofttere og med st?rre og st?rre fl?der. Den bedste ( og nemmeste) m?de at baske dem p? er at indtage mirach 3. Derved mister de alle deres kolonier. Skrap end masse tanks, troopers, hunters, starfigters og destroyers sammen, og angrib mirach 3. En af kalls`enes fl?der springer ind og hj?lper til.

2.del: THE LEAGUE

N?r mogruls er banket flade, f?r du mulighed for at bes?ge tre nye solsystemmer. Send en satellite carrier af sted, da samtlige racer vil erkl?re dig krig mod dig. Opbyg en h?r p? 450 tanks, 50 troopers, 20 destoyers, 200 starfighters og 100 hunters. Det tager sin tid men det er besv?ret v?rd. Spionen I baren kan sige dig, hvilke planeter du skal angribe. Brug ogs? piraten da han kan skaffe dig millt?rt udstyr og materialer, uden at du selv skal til at hugge det. N?r the league er v?k, f?r du koordinaterne til Rigel systemet.

3.del: JORDEN

Unders?g planeten I rigel, og du vil efter kort tid kunne finde en ny planet. Send en army eller trade group derhen, og du vil f? nogle v?ben og adgang til jordens solsystem. Byg 80 rocket lanuchers, og gen opbyg din fl?de fra f?r. Problemerne skulle nu v?re l?st og spillet gennemf?res nemt herfra.

Hi, it looks as you don't use trade ships. Send trade ships to the other solar system. They are only mean to contact with other races and advance the game.
