It's very straightforward in conveying a simple information that...
THE GAME DOES NOT WORK WITH XP!!!

Also, remember to run a search in the Troubleshooting next time round... these threads might have your question answered a dozen times over.

All these pages and pages of stuff on getting it to run which I managed to do on the first try, and nothing on how play. I've spent half an hour alternating between trying to do stuff and watching the AI to see how it does stuff.

I can't figure out how to do anything except move guys around (and make workers form up into foreman groups and follow foremen around). I feel like such an idiot.

By the time I would return here I'll have probably figured it out on my own; nevertheless some info here for future people in my shoes would be nice.

I got a problem with the downloaded Constructor from this site. Every time I lose the game goes back to DOS and say a error message like: The playable movie file was missing.

It seems like the zip file doesnt have all nessecary files...

Can I get some support?

I tried to download but it got the same problem. Perhaps Abandonia doesnt have all files for Constructor.

i dont care wat people say... I LOVE THIS GAME...although i would love to try the sequel.

If you experience lag problems using dosbox, which i did, you can speed up the fps using ctrl+F12, you'll see on the title bar of dosbox how quick you made it, 12000 works well, and i use crtl+8 for frameskip and set that to 3.. goodluck!
