It's the Death Star fom Star Wars...
 OK, sorry. It reminds me a bit of the Atomium in Brussels. But the castle around it looks german in a way... Berlin? Vienna?

 Well, no... This statue is in the courtyard of the St. Peter Basilica, and it symbolizes the man. The outer shell is the body and the inner globe is the soul... And it can be rotated... yep...  Okay, here's the next question: What is the name of this building and where is it?
