![]() Didn't play this much on it own, when i was younger (i wont say just how much younger, but enough to feel old when people mention beinmg a kid when street fighter II came out). My brothers girlfreind (now wife) bought him a GORF machine.
For those not in the know gorf you played in 'waves' up to the mother ship, whic if you beat you got promoted. the waves went , astro invaders (space invaders clone), Laser batter( a bit like glaxain only with two 'laser' ships which fired long laser beams at you), then came a wave of galaxians (the connection that makes this slightly less off topic), then a space warp(where the enimey would come spiraling out of the middle of the screen towards you), and the finaly the mother ship,(where you have to blow a hole in the reactor to blow it up). You then started again at a slightly higher level. the galaxian wave was always my favoirite. |

The Galaxian level was always my favorite too  When I finally achieved the final rank of "Space Warrior" I had achieved one of my life-long goals. I can die happy now (even though I promptly died thereafter in the first level :laugh |
