Right now, it only allows the moderator to split off the selected posts.
Problem is, only posts on the currently viewed page can be selected, which creates unneccesary hassle when removing spam and warez-requests from multi-page threads. Is it possible to fix that? The current way has its own uses, I admit - specifically, when cleaning out more recent posts - but the old one was much more powerful, since it allowed for selecting posts from the entire thread far and wide.

Alright, I'll post a ticket about it in the ipb support center after I'm done with the god damn CSS which isn't compatible with the old versions :P

Seems that I can actually move between thread pages without cancelling out the post selection.
But, the "printable" display mode when splitting was kind of useful...
