Uhm i think this is a nissan 350z, so its predecessor would be a z32.
That car was released in 1990. However it was based on older prototypes, of wich the first,
the NISSAN MID 4 was unveiled in the Frankfurt Auto Show , September 1985.

Ah, but the first model year for the 300ZX was 1984, so the car actually appeared in 1983. That was the Z31 chassis. The Z32, as you state, appeared in 1990. I guess the correct answer depends on exactly which bit of information he's looking for.

Hmm i cant find an exact date. Late in 1983 for the zx300 is the best i can do.
