Since I linked to this thread I thought I'd be the first to revive it with some gameplay picts of the game in action!



The first is a shot of the animated opening screen where the arcs from the Jacob's ladder coming out of the earth climb up the poles and the words "Gravity Whip" are hographicly projected around the globe. The rest are an assortment of gameplay shots showing caseing the various planets in their natural habitat.

Trust me, that is about as much awesomeness as this game ever offered. I mean, it's occasionally fun watching the curvature of the shots, but unless I wanted to take the time to set up a hosting thing for a captured video you're probably not going to get to see it. I suppose I could find someone to host the executable, but there are so many things that I wish I had done. There's no sound, the shots would be easier to see if they "glowed" or had trails, and the interface is just... well it was a proof of concept anyways.

Christian? I thought I had made all the arms the same length, more or less. Funny, I've never seen a cross in it before. But yeah, when you look at it the right way. Huh.

I mean, I'm Christian myself, but I don't do the whole cross as iconification thing.

@Blood-Piggy, this was less about producing a beta and more about occuping my time a lonely boring summer working the computer lab. Of course, had it been a concept that (a) sucked less or (b) had been developed better it could have had a chance. But it did so it didn't.
