![]() I haven't play this game for years, and now I want to play it again. Just the WinXP with SP2 says the system file is not adequate to run DOS or Windows programs. Does anybody know how to fix it?

I believe your problem has something to do with a file called "autoexec.nt", but you better check that better. |

I followed this guide and the installation worked well, but I really have problems with the shortcut: Do I have to type both orders below in the target line in the shortcut window ? C:\DOSBox\DOSBox-0.63\dosbox.exe c:\Dosgames\xwing\bwing.exe -conf XWing.conf what is meant with "At the bottom of the conf.file" ? And where do I find this [autoexec] thing ? I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this. |

![]() Yes, you have to type both the orders for the shortcut to work properly.
At the bottom of the conf file = CONF are the DosBox config files. That's where "this [autoexec] thing" is stored as well. |

![]() Have you ran the IMGMOUNT command correctly? Triple-check on that.

![]() I checked it again and couldn't find a mistake.
Does it actually matter if I make a shortcut only of the exe-file or should I take the whole game folder? |
