you might try running command prompt (cmd.exe)
then right-click the title bar, go to properties, switch the display mode to full-screen. then go cd c:\whatever-your-game-path-is and run usm2 it worked for my windows 2000 EDIT: you might also make a shortcut, and then set it's properties->screen to full-screen tell me if it helped you.
