I think I discovered a bug in the Amiga version,. In London exhibit I can´t show the landlord at ship´s inn the letter about his tea, I have told him I were looking for Molly but he denies knowing her, when I talk to him again and call him a liar I just get one dialoge option "I guess I´ll have to go look for her myself" I got the letter though and the key to the warehouse, I have even tried going back to the lawyer´s firm and search the room but found nothing. Can anyone help me out?

I might give this a go later, looks good, just avoid playing at night i guess.

That's strange...
I deleted the one I had on my computer and downloaded the version on the site (the one you can get). I extracted it and it works just fine!
Download the file.
Extract the file (here miy be the catch - I have it in the C:\waxworks folder).
Run the WAX.BAT - a blue screen shoul appeare, followed by the Accolade screen and the Horror Soft screen - then the credits will roll.
When the manservent asks you for the ticket number press enter (without giving in any number) and you're ready to play!

If you use WinXP the game can freeze, so use either DOS, DOSBox or VDMSound.

I don't know what you're doing wrong, so if you want anybody to be able to help you, you'll have to provide more info.

Ok I found out how the crack works even after using setup.exe to get your desired sound settings working.

SETUP rewrites wax.bat and thus deletes the entry "WAX_MSI.COM" (which is the crack file). You have to put this entry back into the batch file for the crack to work. Just put it one line above the RUNVGA entry in the batch file and it should work. A sample batch file is here:

Echo off
WAX_MSI.COM
runvga gamepc /4 /3 
Echo on

Alternatively you can edit your wax.bat and change the runvga entry to what is shown above. This should start Waxworks in Roland / Soundblaster mode.

Oh, crap :x Does anybody know if I can get the game manual elsewhere? I am looking forward to play this game ASAP. It's one of my childhood myth games

Here's the solution for the floor tile puzzle in the 4th or 5th floor of the pyramid since in the walktrough you said you couldnt work it out and guessing the right tile can be frustrating. In the very first room of the pyramid (the one with the corpse on the table - dagger sticking out of his back) collect the papyrus that is under that guys head. On it you will find the symbols of death which you need at the floor tiles. Each row of the floor tiles all but one tile show symbols of death.... so just step on the symbol that is not on the shown on the papyrus (hence the symbol of life)
