First of all, if you guys (or girls) are still having trouble i've seen most of the posts of which people are having trouble with so here’s what I did...

First of all download Dosbox in one of the above posts and the game itself either from your connection but if it’s too crappy then someone else’s.

Once the Dosbox is done downloading I remember in one of the posts some one said to change the dosbox config and replace some of the text well for you noobs here's how you do it...

Right click on dosbox.cfg file (I don’t think the format letters are correct) and click on properties and once the properties box pops up then click on change where it says | Opens with: dosbox (CHANGE...) | then click on note pad.

Open up the dosbox which should open up note pad and look for the part where it says [cpu] and replace what ever the other guy said and this should fix the lag problem a bit.

Next actually opening the game

Before that you must set up the sound so this is how you do it. You click and drag the file SETSOUND to the dosbox file as in this...| SETSOUND | --DRAG--> | DOSBOX| as the icons (You will also have to do this in most of the games you download from this website if its dosbox is needed...) for all the sound types (MIDI and others you must select AUTO DETECT in which will find the dosbox's emulated sound cards and once your done test the sounds to see if they are working, for the Digital you should hear a old man saying "Hello this is constructor are you receiving??" and for the MIDI you should hear a crappy sci-fi sorta music.

To run constructor do the same thing as SETSOUND but instead do it with the file GAME

Some of the stuff in Constructor are missing (trust me I once had the game) so in Game Settings (in the game) where it says "Display all video animations = Yes) Change it to NO so it wont crash again saying that this and that is missing

This is all I could remember from all your problems but if there are any unsolved ones please email me jax1506@hotmail.com

I will be finding other downloads and seeing if they have all the stuff there since you guys might be annoyed at the fact that your probably thinking that your missing a lot of cool stuff from the animations but your not really…

Try it out, have fun and look out for me!

Hi everyone! I've had the same problem you all have: I coudn't play either Constructor or Street Wars (the name of Mob Wars here in Spain and Europe) because I used Windows XP. I really love those games, so I spent a whole week looking for solutions and trying different ways. Finally I heard about Virtual PC. You can download it free from Microsoft, I think (it is also very easy to download from eMule). It's an awsome program that emulates any computer you want, and very easy to use (much more easy and efficient than Dos Box). The only think you need is to create a virtual hard drive and then install the MSDOS (you can find it looking for it in emule, very easy to install too) or download a hard drive with MSDOS (extension .vhd). If you want, you can contact me and I'll send you my virtual hard drive. ([BEEEP]@hotmail.com) The experience was great!! The game works exactly the same as the original (no need to adjust speed), the sound was correct, as well as the graphics. I haven't tried playing Street Wars yet (I'm downloading Windows 95) but I suppose it will run OK. Well, I hope this was useful and you can play them without problems, because they are some awsome game and it's a pity they are no longer played. If you need something just mail me. See u and good luck! k:
