I've recently played Monkey Island 3 and I'm quite sure Herman Toothroot wasn't there. Those four characters are the only ones that appear in the three games, I think.

toothrot appears, thought its not the live one, but rather the puppet one. hes in the leChucks rollercoaster...

then, theres the three men without morale (pirates).

they appear as themselves in no. 1 and 2; and they act out as barbers in part 3... (eventhough its not mentioned its really THEM, but they are so similar, its got to be them... the big strong one with the beard, the slick one with the moustache and the small, fat, bald guy... its GOT to be them...!)

oh, and you could find the cannibals as mardi-gras-costumes in no. 2 i think

I've entered any number and it played just fine.

get scummVM (try google on that buzzword) and dont care about the codewheels.

or cut the code-wheels out, align them on each other, cut out the marked areas on the smaller one and enter the amounts of each ingredient...

It really is saliva as you put it.

The game had a spitting contest (who can spit the saliva further).
