Hmm that's interesting I never really notice my birthdays as a milestone or something important, the only difference I felt when turning 18 is that I was actually legal to do some things but that has never stopped me in the past. Also I am going to college from high but I take it as a change for better not worse. There is really nothing bad with growing older as long as you can do things you want.
