If the game says these keys are used, then they are really used to control a car (probably for the other player - it's a two player game).

The easiest was around it is to reconfigure the keys for the other player first and then for you. It should work (you may also try to turn ON/OFF the num lock button).

Thank you for your fast answer.

I tried your two suggestions - reconfigure keys for second player first and turn on / off num lock
button. But the problem is still there
I played a few minutes ago with the mouse for left and right (moving)
and up/down arrow keys for accelerating and brake.
Not bad but the car reacts sometimes to slow so you hid walls or other cars

I played this game in the past at a friends computer with the arrow keys and it it much better of course.

I have now tried to delete "Lotus 3" from my computer and download and install it again.
That classic trick has helped me in other conflicts but not this time.

Maybe the keyboard or the computer (2006 model) do not match with the game settings
or requirements.

Anyway if you or someone else has another solution I would be very thankful.
