To know if your C is mounted right, at the dosbox prompt input: C: If it can't change to C: your virtual C is not mounted right. *Edit In Vista it is also important to know if you run as administrator with full writing rights or on a restricted account. It determines where you can make a 'games' folder to use as virtual C:

This is a long time fave of mine and dying in the process AGAIN! Bloody game! Dam you in all your glory!!!!! I have installed and everything, and I get the intro running... Then the bloody thing drops back to dos with a c:\games\kom\DB0\test This sucks! Please help end my pain. P.S. whats the deal (pray I eventually get this working) about changing disks? . Sorry , I'm comp retarded for the most part:P CHEERS!!! |

Thanks for this but I'm already using dosbox. I do everything seamingly correctly... mount c c:\games\kom Imgmount d d:\KOM_THIDNEY.iso -t iso blah blah And it runs... then drops back to dos after the intro with c:\games\kom\DB0\test I cant work it out!! Any other ideas?? Thanks |
