I tried, but noting works, the game seems not to be able to load the drivers of the CD (the game only installs a execution file, a batch file, an installation and a few other files and takes the rest of the data off the CD) and is the drq the same as the IO port for the sound card in the options? Thank you for your help though, it was much appreciated!

I use a c:\games as dosbox C: , so I will post my mount/install lines, alter to suit your folders.
The X:\ is your real cd drive letter in windows.
run dosbox

mount d X:\ -t cdrom
mount c c:\games
d:
install

SFX: choose soundblaster, hardware settings: IO port220 IRQ7 DMA 1
Save
The install will leave you in c:\HULKCD\
Input hulk to play.

Next time you wanna play:
run dosbox

mount d X:\ -t cdrom
mount c c:\games
c:
cd hulkcd
hulk

If you want you can make an ISO from the CD and mount that instead of your CD.
Save the ISO as c:\games\iso\hulk.iso
The mount d X:\ -t cdrom becomes then:
imgmount d c:\games\iso\hulk.iso -t iso
In fact you're better of with the ISo, avoids all those spinup/down for your cddrive.

It was not supposed to accept X and you were not supposed to use it.

You're welcome

*laughs

My fault, should have used size 7 arial_black bold underlined blue/red/green/yellow flashing italic for that "X".
Sorry.

Nice game, I managed to compare PSX and 3DO versions - I love them both, but the 3DO versions is simply better. For ones who want to try one of those console versions using emulators - there's a warning - I could't run them fully operating - there're some glitches issues - concerning sound.

For fans I'd reccomend the 3do version - the graphics and design are better than the ones on the Playstation. There's also a differense in music. Both versions I easily downloaded via the internet. I have both consoles - so - I didn't find any problems playing Space Hulk - Vengeance of the Blood Angels...

So.... Keep alert, brothers.....There are hundreds of them....

Space Hulk and Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels are two different games. VoTBA has also been released for PC.

I LOVED this game back in '93. Wasted many a night trying to crack it and suffering psychological trauma from all the Genestealer screams and roars from darkened corridors. You think it's hard as is? I didn't even know there was FreezeTime...and just to make it interesting I equipped a whole squad with Laser Claws. Nothing more satisfying than tearing a GS's face off to the gutteral cry of "Eat metal!"

Ahhh, the memories...

Hello there. I am trying to install Space Hulk from cd using Dosbox but it is saying that there was a problem with the install and asking me if I have enough free space on my hard drive. Strange question as I have at least 40gig free. Any help people?
