this game is so easy to run on xp, I dont know why people are having so much trouble.

Ectract the files into C:\MDK\ and the game runs perfectly fine with no compatibility options.

Hello, you must put the mdk directory straight off the c drive

eg

c:\mdk

and NOT c:\games\mdk
[/b][/quote]

does anybody know if there's a way to improve the graphics? I mean, like any other old games have hi-res packs (e.g. duke Nukem 3d), perhaps it exists something similar for the MDK game...

I think you'd need a bit more than just a hi-res texture pack. Closer to an engine port, probably.

Hi,

I see some people have been looking for an MDK pdf manual.

There's one here--

http://static.g.gametap.com/static/manuals...anual_23f90.pdf

Here's google's crawl of it if you want to see if it's for you--

I did the Hex Editing tweak on the D3D patch like it was suggested on previous posts but now the MDKD3D.exe just crashes back to desktop. I'm on Windows XP.

Anyone succesful using the patch on xp?
