It was released in a compilation for Atari XL/XE computers called Adventure Trilogy (with Aztec Challenge and Forbidden Forest). I can't find anything about a DOS version though.

Copyrigths Cosmi Cosmi corporation isn't an ESA member, seems abandoned. However I think it will be hard to find a Dos version around.

Maybe you played it on a PC, but not on an IBM PC. Alone because of the colours you can't have played a contemporary DOS version, and I doubt that someone converted it that much later.
