Thanks a stack for the map of the Dark Forest - it is far nicer than my own hand-drawn one I drew for myself, and far more useful than my "list of steps" on this forum!!!
:confused: Do you by any chance have a map of the Hedge Maze, please? I have hand-drawn my own map, but must have missed something because I only have 5 garlic instead of 6, so I am going to have to painstakingly go over the whole massive thing again!!!! I will be so grateful for a map please!!!

Well done for finding 3 garlic. The maze is amazingly big and very easy to miss a "gap" or a room.
Where did you find a machette, please? I do not remember coming across it.

The machete can be found in the swamp. According to the hintbook - the knapsack , lighter , machete , pistol & rope are all found in the swamp.

:laugh:Wow..Marshall 99..great stuff with the maps... I have made it through the maze and got to the mansion and then found I didn't have the @#$ tobacco .Got it now and have to go back.Yuk!!

Wendy..Marshall 99 is right I found the machete at the edge of the swamp near the water..I got all the garlic. I didn't find the maze boring but just looooong...right back to the maze...SAL

Appreciate the offer but for the moment , probably not , the hintbook is nearly 100 pages , will take me too much work and time to scan through everything , maybe when i got the time.
However , like wendy , i do have problems with my login , i don't see a pm function either ?!

Thanks a stack for all the maps - you are a star!!! Thanks also for the info re the machette etc - now that you jog my memory, I now remember seeing it, but I left it and the knapsack because my inventory was full!!!

Nice to see you around again. Yes, I gave up on Armaeth : Sal and I could simply not find the items and actions for the missing points. I keep checking the forum every so often, but no-one else has posted a finding!!!
After that, I played Paradise (Benoit Sokal, the author of Syberia 1 and 2) - beautiful game, lovely graphics, and unusual story, but the virtually unplayable cursor "bugs" in two major places were a killer, despite the patch!!
And as you see, I am now well into Veil of Darkness - a lovely game despite the Hedge Maze!!!

Hello all who are having password problems (which includes me):
I have noticed that :-
- If the password thingy is not fully working/ not working properly, you cannot see certain functions, like pm, logoff etc - maybe this "limited functions" applies if you only log into the forum and not into the site? I have not tested that consistently.
- if you could log in successfully one way, try to log in the same way next time e.g. if site login worked, then forum login often does not work, so log into site again (and vice versa). Hope this info helps a bit - it is not a cure but it does seem to help sometimes.

:laugh:Hi Paco....I played Armaeth through 4 times but as Wendy says we seemed to be missing something at the end.No matter how hard we tried we couldn't get the perfect points score...One of the best games I ever played.

Wendy..might be able to tackle the maze again after work today..just have to take a deep breath and plunge in..will e-mail you later

Back again Wendy..just to let you know that I didn't have to go through the maze again after I went to get the tobacco because the mansion came up on the map and I was able to go straight there..By the way I hate to tell you but there is another maze when you go into the mausoleum...Anyway I am almost ready to go to crazy Franks and then on to tthe Fortress...........SAL
