Well, big companies really don't make such games anymore, but they are still being made as flash games, online games, handy phone games... So there is no apathy (the jednoduché) you're talking about, but such small games really aren't something people would buy nowdays. Can you imagine yourself buying a new bowling or poker game on a CD paying 20€ for it, even though it would be only for 10MB... Such games are at best sold in those packages of "100 best window games" or something like that.
