It all depends on the algorithm to pick a random game.
Imagine there being a book and people ask you to open the book on a random page. You'll often open the exact same page or close to it, while you're practically never open it up at the first few pages or the last few pages. If randomizing scripts aren't accurate, the same thing can happen and you get "sweet spots" = spots that get chosen more often than others. For example: I have a Creative Zen W player and if I have some 3000 songs on there. I can hear the exact same song within an hour yet there's songs I'll NEVER hear with the random functions. Yet 3000 songs = 12.000 minutes = 200 hours of music. Basically, it's likely that the script to pick a game at random has too many sweet spots that will pick identical games. |
