but then you would have to define good and evil.

no i still think that by making a cross over the board that would mean that the board is finite and can then only extend infinitely into 4 directions. kind of liek coordinate system.

Then again angel will still sort of have infinite space to retreat to. as soon as you could limit the board it get's much easier to predict who wins, so they way i would try to solve it is to see if there is any option to limit the board first instead of the movement of the Angel.

Just noticed this - Angel will never be able to be proven to win because it cannot be proven that the angel cannot move across an infinite board infinitely, unless infinity is defined, which, of course, it can't be. SOLVED!

Angel wins. Since the Devil can only remove 1 square per turn, and the chessboard is infinite, and for the devil to win, he'd need to make a hole with the length of n, it would take an n amount of turns to make the hole.

yes, that'd be available. the chessboard is infinite, so if he started light years away, he would be able to make a lot of those holes

arete &alumiun- that's so incorrect, things including infinity can be proven

The Devil cannot trap the Angel because the board has infinite length and infinite width.

you're making no sence, that's actually why the devil could trap the angel of any power, if it's true
