As for Abandonia I guess it's necessary for Studentis to get their ugly butts in gear or re-sell it to someone who doesn't have their same interest in letting it rot (both unlikely).

To put it bluntly.
If we don't hear from Kosta until the end of January, it'll mean he left us to our own devices.
A lot of things are effectively paralysed due to his absence. If he's not going to do anything about them, we (as in: the staff) will have to take the matters into our own hands.

Not much, admittedly.
But we can at least try to get things to work without him.
Remember, a number of things (bug fixes, anyone?) were depending on the fact he was the middleman between us and Studentis, and certain administrative decisions were left for him to make the final decision on.

Nice, but only in theory. Moving servers without Kosta is impossible. Period.
And the bandwidth cost alone is about $300 to $400... per month.

Yeah, it's bad enough having to deal with a webmaster whose availability is below 50 per cent, but if you have to go through a liaison whose availability is 0 per cent...

BTW I wish Kosta all the best in whatever projects that have him so busy. Would be nice however to see him reappear even occasionally.
