Hi for all!I just have two questions for all of you!As I saw the screenshots about the gameplay I saw hi-res pictures! I have the CD trilogy with hi-fi music and I can't set the resolution! Is there a hi-res version?Or just the pictures seem hi-res to me?And another question i've seen on youtube a trailer in french about the tree aitd. I tried, and I mean, I REALLY tried...but I just can't look in these horrible quasi 3D graphics, nice 2D will always be better than horrible 3D.
As for the famous fear factor of Alone in the Dark series, I'll look it up in Alone in the Dark 4.

Well, the game is 90% 2D it's just you and the enemies and a few items that are 3D. It would never have worked in 2D. Remember, when this game was made, there was no other 3D games like this. It inspired Resident Evil - oh heck, I'll just say it: Resident Evil ripped off Alone In The Dark completely.

Hi! Thanx! I just thoght there is a 1024x768 or something version of the game, maybe it's just my eyes ! And what about the cool sound effects?did all of you heard those screams and gunshots etc.? So the black boxed trilogy is only about new music?nothing more extra? Do you remember the original c&c? low-res, simple icons in the game, etc.? I have a "win95" version 1024x768,cool icons and more! that's why I thought there is a newer AITD!

That 10% is such a thorn in the eye that it outruns the other 90% of harmless 2D.
