Oh by the way beetroot is great cooked up! You can boil it and eat it cold or as I prefer - roasted and then eaten with a nice roast... OR fried up into chips - HMMM yum!

This opens new possiblitys. Could you make a chip out of a carrot or broccoli. Maybe even potatoes. LOL

Carrot chips taste pretty ugly! But you can make chips out of just about anything - make sure that the oil is hot enough and go for it! You can even make pumpkin chips! Slice thin, put in hot oil, cook, drain, eat!

Spinach sliced thinly and then flash fries until crispy works wonders as a garnish! However the idea of fried cabbage makes me think of the smilie post...
