Hey! That's Orco! (at least, that's how they called here... although He-Man was strange at the time as it was one of the few cartoons that didn't try to translate the names of the characters)

Hey, I have played this game! It was about robots with upgrade parts. You could select from chassis, armaments and backpack and define a custom robot.
Hmmm, this was a subgame in a bigger game. You had a small starship in the beginning and had to do missions, like destroying a pirate, or delivering something from A to B. With the money you could upgrade your ship. The robot-battle was just a minigame within the game. If I could only remember the name!
It was turn-based, right?

The RTS mode was real time,the space mode was actually turn based,but with days.

Space Rangers 2!!!

After searching the Internets up and down for one whole hour I remembered the name! And also why I did NOT like this game at all. The strategy part is cool, but the minigames disrupt the whole atmosphere.

What do you mean by minigames?The quests with adventure elements?I enjoyed them a lot (Except the annoying "logical" ones,the first part had an impossible quest) Being held in jail was very fun,too

I mean the quest when suddenly you find yourself exploring the unknown parts of the universe where you are put into a minigame to repair your truck and deliver supplies to an unkown outpost whatever.
This sucked so much in the middle of a game that I uninstalled SR2 from my hard-drive I dunno but there have to be tons of other games better than this!

Take for example Battle Isle 2 - Titan's Legacy nobody has yet accomplished to beat it yes it's that hard a milestone in gaming history, not made for the public but for the fans who like BI2 it's a gem and far beyond that it's more harder than it looks and even the most hardcore player will find his teeth broken when trying to bite the dust. That's a real game you don't beat it in one month but the harder it is, the longer you can enjoy it.

Unlike Space Rangers 2 Uhhhhhhhh I deleted this piece of software from my harddisc after a few dozens of hours ... IEEEEEEEEEEEEgitititititiGITTTTTTTTTTT
