![]() From what I hear, most users recommend an MT-32 (if you have one) or something that emulates one (if you can be bothered with setting up the emulation). Personally, I don't really see anything wrong with Sound Blaster.

(i dont have a perfekt english so the following text may contain ugly vocabulary) so everytime i start the game via pm2.exe the dos screen just minimizes to the task bar. i can klick on the thing (or tab) again, the game continues, but after 1 or 2 seconds it minimizes again. are there any settings to change so it can work right finally? is it maybe because i'm using win xp? someone help ! |

![]() Yes, it's because you use WinXP. Use DOSBox (yet another link).

![]() Hello,
I am able to play this game by clicking on the PM2.exe but I have a really unfortunate problem which I'm wondering if anyone could give me some advice for. I'd like to know if there's any way to make the game run in a window rather than full screen. Or if there's any other ideas, they are much appreciated. Here's the background: In a horrible accident, my laptop's screen display was damaged. Luckily everything works BUT all the colours are negative (i.e. black is white, red is blue etc.)... So I remedied this situation by using a magnifying program (DesktopZoom3) which has an option to invert colour. This turned out alright but the only problem now is in order to see a game run in normal colour the game has to be in a window because desktopzoom (or the other colour inversion programs I've tried) can't run games full screen. I don't really care that I have to play them in a window (although Princess Maker has such nice graphics) but I can't seem to get pm to run in a window. Any comments or suggestions are wholeheartedly welcomed. Ian. |
