Shadow Of Yserbius
Easily the best in the series. The sequels made all the spells recoverable by any class at specific points in the game rather than have them develop by leveling the class that was originally intended to have them. The puzzles and mazes and battles were also much more interesting (as were the quests) and generally funner than the sequels.
