![]() I've always been a PC user, but I completely respect MAC's... not only for the niche role they play today, but for their historical significance as well.
Most PC/Windows users either don't know or won't admit that many of the well-recognized and most widely used advances in the Windows GUI/OS were written because Microsoft couldn't stand being constantly one-up'ed by Apple. (e.g. built-in networking, vector-based fonts, object-oriented desktop, cooperative multitasking, WYSIWYG printing, standard API's [QuickDraw, et al], etc.) I still wouldn't mind have a sweet G5 w/ OSX on it. It's like a Linux box on crack. All that said, I'll still never give up my PC. |
