I would say that things are off topic when you can't even see what the name of the topic has to do with the main conversation. And when people are posting stuff like "oh" or "ok", and nothing else, without a reason. There are some stuff that should be answered, and some things are just obvious, and don't need an answer. I have to say, personally, I'm not a big fan of those games, "Name game", "hangman" or stuff like that. I don't have anything against it, but I look at it as a way to boozt up the post count. I know that in many other forums, games like that belong in sub-forums where posts aren't counted. I think that's a great idea, as there are many people who look at those games as a way to get a high postcount.

And also, in my opinion, stuff that belongs in PM's are also spam. For an example, just now, Iron Scarecrow asked Yamcha what his warning level is. In my honest opinion, that belonged in a PM.

But well, those are only my opinions

I completely agree with that. Expecially about the "ok","oh" and emoticon-only posts :ranting:

When someone go off topic sometimes, that's nothing worth mentioning. When that someone keeps going off topic further, he'll be told to stay on topic. That alone isn't spam yet, though (I would say). But when someone keeps posting double posts all the time, going off topic all the time, this is spam.

As for boosting the counts...

Like I said before - it's better for people not to see the counts at all.
In general - if you have something to say - say it, but if you just want to get a few more number up - shut up!

Games like the hangman, sentance game, name game - those have nothing to do with boosting the level of posts! People thought they were fun and that's why they did them. Just go through the entire story in the sentance game and you'll get a real laugh!!!

And if people aren't alowwed to have some fun and play games - remind me again - what is the main thing this site supplys - that's right GAMES, FUN,...
