Hey, start instead Might and Magic 9, pls.
Yesterday I tried to run it, but I had severe headache, and loading-problems. I'd be glad if I could hear about it from someone at least if I'll get permanently stuck which is highly likely

But for Planescape either way: start with at least 12 charisma, ok?

And just to help you out with Planescape I looked up my old files, and CHA 11 (not 12) is the minimum. There is a trick that casting Friend can end you so much charisma you'll have infinite money, but the prime importance is a unique ring at the beginning from the ghost-lady, at which point you can not cast Friend or boost your stats otherwise. And I think this is a bug, there should be no requirement.
For a reason there are plenty of equipments in the game, but rings are rare.

I don't give you the actual "suggested starting stats for completionists" because that'd be too meta.

In general the game looks good, but obviously rushed. And I have trouble switching areas.

- Heroes of Might and Magic 3: longest time to pass (1.5 years, no walkthrough used)
- Resident Evil 2: most satisfying completion (try ToFu Survivor!)
- Cobra City: best xxx-game
- Baldies: best game I never completed (got stuck. I'll never officially give up though!)
- Planescape Torment: most famous/respected game I ever played
- Maniac Mansion: the game I longest have (since C64. First completion was on PC, but this wasn't about completion for me)

PP1 is good game for its time.
Mr. Mechner created real gem.
My best time is 42 min. from 60. I runned with 3 lifes only. No time for more.
I remember one no two funny details:
-First when my screen becames upside-dowm.
My bro adviced to upside-down my monitor. Lol.
-Second: In level 2-3 sry dont remember i lost maybe 10 days in attempts to go to wrong direction. One night bright !! idea appeared... brave try in another direction -in this case right -.

is one of my quests to do.
The Keep is located arond Stumford city.
Ok.
I accept the quest and directed to the Keep
to see next picture:
The door-bridge is NOT open!
I do not see or find any switch to press, key to open?
Nothing.

Can not anwer..
