Dreadu, try upping the CPU cycles on the dosbox by pressing alt-12 until the game runs smoothly.

Hello everyone. I just had to join these forums after finding our my favorite old game Crusader was here.
I got save to work (thanks to the one who mentioned making a save folder) I was just curious if there is indeed any known way to play the movies. They added soo much character and flavor to this game that I can't foresee playing them with as much joy without them. Is there no way yet? Just have to wait for the brilliant minds behind DOSBox to upgrade to allow movies? Thanks in advance |

Since it seems many get them to work on DOSBox. Just half the game is missing without the videos to really draw you into the world. |

I'd love it if you got the movies ready to send over. All I'd need then is how to place them in the file properly and hopefully they should work?
Hope I wasn't beating an old topic, just those movies really made the game. |

Psych0F0x, Thanks for helping us out! Are all the vids located in the FLICS folder? You might just be able to compress that folder instead of the whole game. Of course you could just iso the whole CD and compress that.

why doesn't someone reverse-engineer the code and change it so its actually playable in windows?

i found my cd again, what should i do with the movies? how do you want it? could you use it if you would just put them in the flics map?
